"Narrow Gauge Memories (20 Years On) - The Album"
By Kenn Pearce
Paperback cover 120 pages black/white photos
INTRODUCTION
Imagine, if you can, a different era but a time not too long past. Imagine you;ve travelled by rail from Adelaide to Terowi in South Australia's Mid-North. Maintaining the imagery, we're about to set off on an 800-mile marathon tour of South Australia's narrow gauge Peterborogh Division. Terowie, a historic railway gauge changeover town, is an appropriate start to our travels.
We've enlisted the help of a brace of photographers to record our trip as we visit every corner of the division. First we'll battle the notorious Gumbowie Bank as we travel the short 15 miles from Terowie and Peterborough.
