PUBLISHERS NOTE
In 1988 we published a small book 'Railway Reborn', which was an illustrated look at the first few years of the Pichi Richi Railway, and it has long been out of print. In late 2014 we thought that it was time to either reprint the original or produce a completely revised book with all new photographs. WIth the introduction of the new Mini Profile series we decided on a mixture of both. You will find a number of new photographs and text plus some of the more interesting images from the original book.
