This presentation follows on from North Coast Line Review Pt1 and in it we will review action between Grafton City and Roma St Brisbane in 2008 through 2011.
In summary, main changes have been contraction of Grafton goods yard operations, an expansion of QR Nationals presence in Casino, major changes to the southern end of Acacia Ridge goods yard and elimination of platform No1 at Roma St railway station in Brisbane to improve rail/road coach passenger interchange.
Locomotives seen include AN, G, LDP, NR, 421, 48, 81, 2400, and 2800 Classes in the more recent liveries of PacNat and QR National while passenger rolling stock includes XPT and Suburban equipment of CountryLink and Queensland Railways.
