“Diesel Diary 10” continues the theme of illustrating a wide range of diesel locomotives working in a variety of locations in New South Wales. Highlights of this video include:
- The first run of the GREAT SOUTH PACIFIC EXPRESS over the Blue Mountains in December 1999 and through the Sydney Underground in 1997.
- Silverton locos 442s6 & 48s37 hauling a fascinating collection of withdrawn locos and wagons on the Short South in December 1999.
- Preserved loco 4701 in candy livery working between Carcoar and Blayney in August 1996.
- “G” and “X” class locos in different liveries working hard on the Freight Victoria log train on the Canberra line in January 2000.
- 8004 in original livery with 48100 in FreightCorp blue running on the Wallerawang colliery branch line in July 1993.
- NSW Rail Transport Museum locos 4490, 4207 & 4306 on a tour to the Illawarra in September 1999.
