This volume continues the theme of illustrating a wide range of locomotives operating in NSW. A significant portion of this DVD is devoted to the arrival of Australian Railroad Group locomotives as they take up the haulage of “Manildra” trains in 2003. GMs, CLs & 31s are shown hard at work in a diverse range of locations from the Illawarra to Tumulla out west and Ardglen to the north.
Other highlights of the DVD are:
- The inaugural run of The Ghan to Sydney in April 1999, featuring NR30 & NR52 freshly painted in their unique indigenous livery.
- Locomotives EL51, EL55, EL61, still in original AN livery, with Great Northern’sT381 and Freight Australia’s T399 hauling a heavy grain train from the Cowra area to Harden in December 2000.
- Quad Interail locos 42202, 42206, 42109 & 42107 blasting through the scenic Coffs Harbour region in July 2002.
