“Stories of Steam - 14” presents spectacular scenes of NSW steam locomotives in operation.
Highlights include:
- 3112 hauling shuttles around the Darling Harbour goods line in January 1992, and then double heading ten years later with 3830 on a heavy tour to Robertson.
- 5910 & 3642 running parallel from Sydney to Penrith and then double heading to Lithgow in July 1993.
- 2705 & 1709 undergoing heavy load trials after being returned to service in July 1995.
- The last run of SMR18 on “The Cockatoo Run” in November 1998.
- The first mainline run of 3526 after its return to service in May 2004.
