“Stories of Steam - 10” continues the theme of illustrating a range of preserved steam locomotives working in a variety of locations in New South Wales.
Highlights of this DVD include:
- 1210, assisted by diesel loco 7319, slogging over the grades between Queanbeyan and Bungendore in September 2001.
- 3026 & 3001 double-heading a heavy tour train along the spectacular Cowra to Blayney line in October 1994.
- 3801 & 3830 double-heading on the challenging grades to Robertson via Unanderra in December 1998.
- Scenes of 5910, 3642, 3801 & 3112 hauling trains along the now closed goods line from Darling Harbour to Rozelle in the early 1990s, including a cab ride on 3801.
- 3830 performing solo on a run to Bundanoon in November 1998.
