From 1972 to 1980 Buses, ferries and trains all operated under the control of the Public Transport Commission (PTC). This Government department brought radical changes to the public transport system in NSW.
โ€œDuck the Hassleโ€ was a marketing slogan used by the PTC featuring the character of Donald Duck.
The Sydney Bus Museum is very proud to launch their latest publication.
Duck The Hassle is a 320 page hard cover colour book that has been authored by well known Sydney transport historians Roy Howarth, Greg Travers & John Beckhaus.
This publication covers all aspects of the train, bus and ferries of the PTC era. Every year from 1972 to 1980 is covered and all the significant changes are captured.
Published by the Sydney Bus Museum Limited with the assistance of grants from Transport Heritage NSW.
