“Stories of Steam - 16” presents spectacular scenes of NSW steam locomotives in operation.
Highlights include:
- 3830 storming over the Blue Mountains in beautiful clear winter light in June 1999.
- 1210 & 3016 with the inaugural train to Michelago in April 1993.
- 2705 & 3112 working to Lavender Bay and then tackling Cowan bank in July 1998.
- 3801 & 3830 running parallel from Sydney to Lidcombe and again from Picton out towards Thirlmere in March 2001.
- 3112 & 3526 hauling shuttles from Sydney along the now closed goods line to Rozelle in July 2004.
- 5367 working around the Cowra region to celebrate its return to service in September 1995.
- 5910 travelling through the scenic Illawarra region in May 1993 and later working with 3001 in the Southern Highlands in July 1995.
