Volume One of Train Pictures' exciting model trains series, takes you track side and on board at Australia's "Train Place", home of the Wolffdene Pacific Railroad.
The Train Place was the largest model railroad display in Australia and consumed over 318 square metres of a specially constructed building. Originally located at Wolffdene in the Gold Coast Hinterland it was sold and relocated to Surfers Paradise and sadly is now closed. This is the only DVD ever made on this fabulous model railroad.
The two six track yards of the 'O' scale display link to a busy double track main line and a regional short line interchanging with a narrow gauge railway. An amazing array of locomotives are used including the ever reliable F Unit's and Pacific's to large J's and the mighty R2's.
Genuine train sounds combined with Images from a micro camera mounted onboard take you up close to all the action and bring you a new perspective of model trains. Narration is included along with a fictional story about the railroad.
The N, HO and G scale layouts on display at the Train Place are also shown. This DVD also includes bonus footage of three other sensational layouts on display at the Toowoomba Model Train Exhibition (Queensland).
