Gordon Box - GB001 - Sydney 1926 Overhead Mast Kit (HO Scale)
Kit Contents:
- The kit includes a fret which will allow you to build two complete overhead masts, one lightweight, for double track and the other, heavier, for multiple tracks and platform areas, and 3D printed parts, four bases and four caps for posts.
- This kit will enable you to build two Sydney 1926 pattern overhead masts:
- one to span two tracks and
- one to span up to four tracks or for similar wide spans such as at platforms.
- The kit is manufactured from etched nickel silver and most components can be assembled by folding. Minimal soldering is required at connections. 3D printed bases and post caps are provided.
- These can be constructed to varying widths to suit different four track configurations, for example Up/Down/Up/Down, with or without ground mounted signals or Up/Up/Down/Down. Each configuration will require a different span. The span can also be varied for use at platforms
- The posts can be assembled to differing heights, for example, if they are to be placed on a platform or in a cutting.
- Odd width spans can also be constructed, for example for 3 tracks
