MAN bonnet truck with rear tipper and large “Walhalla” letters
WIKING turns a theme duo into an exciting trio. The previously released Krupp flatbed tractor-trailer and the Mercedes-Benz 1620 cement semi-trailer are now joined by the MAN bonnet truck - designed as a rear tipper semi-truck and, naturally, bearing the large Walhalla letters on the flanks of the skip. Even back then, Walhalla Kalk from Regensburg was producing burnt lime products, special mixes used for construction and environmental production, as well as unburnt limes and quality-controlled mineral compounds for road building. The company could rely on a fleet of road trains to handle the large variety of transport jobs - a fleet that also included the MAN bonnet truck with rear tipper trailer.
Tractor unit: Chassis with cardan part in reed green, driver's cab in grey white. Interior with steering wheel mouse grey. Front fenders chrome oxide green. Fifth wheel plate silver. Bumper and front fenders as well as wheel rims chrome oxide green. Radiator grille with silver-painted ornamental trim and MAN lettering. Driver’s cab sides with silver ornamental strips and door handles. Indicators, imprinted orange. Headlamps painted silver, tail lights red. Semi-trailer: Tipper grey-white, reed green chassis with stabilizer leg. “WALHALLA” lettering on the side in mouse grey and tail lights imprinted red.
