“Just NSW Trains 2" featuring Ardglen & The North includes generous wide screen clips full of locomotive noise, many types of locomotives, colour schemes and operators, operating over the New South Wales rail system.
With a record-breaking grain harvest, there was competition for track space between coal, grain, containers and passengers, all struggling over the Great Dividing Range, through the notorious Ardglen tunnel. We filmed for five days in July 2017, mainly between Scone and Breeza, in Northern NSW. Most trains, in the UP direction, were banked from Chilcott’s Creek to Ardglen-Murrurundi. Featured are, two different loaded SSR grains trains, tackling the approach to Ardglen tunnel with five locomotives on one train and six on the other. There is much locomotive noise.
